Dua for Travel

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ

Subhanal-ladhi sakh-khara lana hadha wa ma kunna lahu muqrineen, wa inna ila rabbina lamunqalibun.

Glory be to Him who has subjected this to us, and we could not have done it ourselves. And indeed, to our Lord we will return.

A little clarity

Finding and understanding a daily dua

Where can I find daily duas with English meanings?

Browse the dua collection or search for an occasion such as sleeping, eating or travelling. Open an entry to see its available Arabic text, transliteration, English meaning and source reference.

How do I check the source of a dua?

Look for the reference on the individual entry and check it in the named source. A missing reference should be reported through the contact form. A reference alone is not a claim that United Islam has independently authenticated every entry.

Are transliteration and translation the same?

No. Transliteration helps you follow the sound of Arabic in Latin letters. Translation helps you understand the meaning in English. Read the labels on each entry so you can distinguish the two.
